Volunteering through the PTO outside of classroom support is a great way to become familiar with your child’s school, help out where needed, and meet other parent volunteers.

Walk-A-Thon: Friday, October 20th!
This is our biggest event of the year, bringing in over half the funds we use to support our school. Assist with signs, pass out water, and cheer on our kids as they walk around the adjacent neighborhoods. CLICK HERE to register and learn more about our Walk-A-Thon!
Popcorn: Join us for the morning of our popcorn days to pop, sort and distribute to the classrooms. A sign-up genius will be sent to sign up as it works in your schedule.
Carnival: Many hands are needed to make this event possible. Volunteers are needed for one-hour shifts to help with wristbands, carnival stations and snacks.
Staff Appreciation Meals: Help coordinator with meals organizing, prep and cleanup during conferences as well as the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon in May. CLICK HERE to learn about ways to show appreciation to Meadow Ridge Staff!
Birthday Bulletin Board: Decorate the Student Birthday Board. Volunteer to sign up for one month or more.
MDR Cares: Help provide meals for our MDR families in need or volunteer in the Cares Closet by organizing/hanging clothing donations. CLICK HERE to learn more about our Cares Closet Needs!
Spirit Wear: This program is designed to develop a sense of community. Assist in showing product and with distribution.
Library: Assist our librarian, Mrs. Bowen in shelving books during school hours and/or assist with Book Fairs.
Watch D.O.G.S.: (Dads of Great Students) This is a father and father-figure involvement program in which men take time to help students at the school. CLICK HERE to learn more about the Watch D.O.G.S. program!
